During his career, ninety-two-year-old Roger was a flight instructor at Corpus Christi Naval Air Station. Roger now lives in a nursing home in Victoria, Texas, and the staff there made arrangements for him to take another flight in the training aircraft he taught fledgling pilots to fly. In the spring of 2017, Roger and pilot Trey Haden took off for a memorable flight over the coastal area of South Texas. Roger’s family and friends were there to support him. The flight was made possible by the Wish of a Lifetime organization.
